On June 05, 2009 in Central Bank of RA were summerized the results of the competition of "the best information brochure 2009".
ACBA Leasing CJSC was recognized the winner between credit organizations.
December, 2008 LOAN AGREEMENT WITH EBRD
On the 2nd of December 2008 was signed loan agreement of amount of 8 mln US dollars between European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (hereinafter “EBRD”) and “ACBA Leasing” Credit Organization Closed Joint-Stock Company (hereinafter “ACBA Leasing”).

Closed Joint Stock Company "ACBA Leasing" is the first specialized leasing company acting as a credit organization.
CJSC "ACBA Leasing" was established on March 30, 2003. The company has its history of foundation.
Taking into consideration that leasing is an important investing lever for increasing productivity of companies and for modernizing fixed assets, ACBA Bank on behalf of the manager of the group Mr. Stepan Gishyan and the French group Credit Agricole on behalf of the consultants of CAC, undertook the foundation of leasing company in Armenia. "ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK" CJSC had a broad operational experience and ability for the implementation of the part of leasing operations (risk analysis). This provided a solid basis for the success of the project. The creation of the company was very urgent and had many pretenders.
International Finance Corporation IFC (IFC is the member of World bank), also expressed its agreement for participating in the foundation of leasing company in Armenia. Lebanese Leasing Company (LLC) and USAID were also involved in the process of the foundation of the first leasing company in Armenia.
Before this such a financial instrument did not exist in Armenia. There has been made a careful examination exposing juridical and legislative areas to be altered.
As a result of mutual work of the participants, CJSC “ACBA Leasing” was ready to start its activity which was very essential for the development of Armenia.
Central Bank of Armenia tributed License N 4 on April 25, 2003 and the company started its work (activity).
In case of any inconsistency between the published Armenian and English versions, the Armenian version prevails.
